Garlic

The vast majority of garlic varieties are planted in late autumn in October or November and harvested in the early spring.

The fun part about growing your own garlic is that you get the chance to choose and try different varieties. Earthy, succulent, fiery, mild, full-bodied – for the garlic lover there are several delicate varieties with different taste characteristics.

Some varieties are ready earlier than others and some produce larger cloves. Some varieties can be stored for a long time, while others cannot. Be sure to read the label before you get digging!
