A neat and easy to grow cultivated plant with beautiful sky-blue flowers that sway in the wind. The fibres of the thin stems are used for textile production and the seeds are pressed to obtain oil. Can be dried. Pick when the pods start to turn brown. Tie into bunches and hang upside down to dry. Undemanding, thrives in sandy soil.
