Tasty chili used in Mexican cuisine. Delicious in stews and sauces. Produces a large crop of first green then chocolate-brown medium-hot fruits. Remove the seeds before consumption, they are the hottest part. Good in pots on the balcony or in the greenhouse. Fertilise and water regularly.

Sow in damp seed compost. Keep moist, cover with plastic or use a mini greenhouse. Place in a warm area for sprouting (20-25°C). After emerging place in a bright, cooler area. Use additional lighting. When plants can be handled transplant 1/pot of fertilised soil. Plant out when lowest night temperature is 8°C.
