Product description
This tomato variety is a favourite for many people! Shirley gives you intensely red, medium-sized tomatoes that mature early. Shirley is a cordon tomato, also referred to as indeterminate or vine tomato. This tomato variety is a good choice for greenhouses, and is resistant to mildew. Since the plant prefers growing in nutrient-rich and well-drained soil, make sure to water and fertilize it regularly for best possible results. Remove suckers and lightly shake the buds for better fruiting. As the plant grows bigger and bigger, it can need some support by strings and support sticks.

Pre-cultivation instructions
Get started by pre-cultivating the seeds for 8-10 weeks before replanting outside. The temperature should be between 18-21°C degrees, which makes it perfect to grow in greenhouses. To make sure the soil stays moist you can cover it with a mini-greenhouse or some plastic. Once shoots start to appear, move the pot to a bright and cool area and provide it with additional lights during the darker months of the year. When the plant has grown big enough and the temperature has risen (night temperature is minimum 8°C) you can replant it outdoors.
