There are hundreds of grass varieties. When you buy grass seed, you’re not buying just one variety, but a mixture of several. The different varieties are selected to give each lawn the right qualities for a particular location and use.
No two lawns are the same – literally – because among all the blades of grass you will find several different varieties. The varieties have been combined to produce a lawn that meets certain requirements. When choosing a grass mixture, it is therefore a good idea to ask yourself: What do I want my lawn to look like? What is it used for? What are the conditions like? How much time do I have to maintain it?
