The Louisa cucumber is perfect for cultivating in greenhouses, with all female flowering. This greenhouse cucumber produces long, dark green cucumbers that are resistant to powdery mildew. The seeds prefer nutrient-rich and well-drained soil that is watered and fertilized regularly. As the plant grows taller and reaches ceiling height, it needs support as well as pruning. Prune earlier if there are no lateral shoots. Lateral shoots should be pruned after fruits form at the leaf attachments.

Pre-cultivate the seeds 4-6 weeks before replanting outdoors. Sow 1 seed per pot and place in a warm area for sprouting (25°C). When the seeds have grown, keep them in a bright area at room temperature until it is time to replant them outdoors. Make sure the night temperature is minimum 5°C before you replant.
