This delicious mini cucumber produces tasty and crispy fruits with smooth skin, making it ideal to enjoy raw. Iznik is a mini cucumber variety that is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses or warm outdoor areas. Its compact growth makes it perfect for growing in large pots, preferably with nutrient-rich, well-drained soil that retains moisture. Water and fertilise regularly for optimal growth. This variety is resistant to mildew and does not need pollinating. Harvest often, when the cucumbers are approximately 10 cm. If mini cucumbers grow too large, they may become bitter.

Start pre-cultivating 4-6 weeks before replanting outdoors. Sow 1 seed per pot in 2/3 fertilized soil and 1/3 sowing soil on top. Keep them moist and place them in a warm area for sprouting, at a temperature of 25°C. When the seeds have grown, place them in a bright area at room temperature. The plants can be replanted outdoors when the night temperature is at minimum 5°C.

Can be direct sown in warm soil.
