Mexican gherkin, or Cucamelon, is a cucumber-like vegetable with Mexican roots. Growing Mexican gherkin will give you an abundant harvest of tiny fruits that look like miniature watermelons. These cute fruits are only 3 cm long! Try them fresh in salads, stir fried or pickled. The plant prefers growing in nutrient-rich soil in a sheltered, warm environment or in a greenhouse.
