A beautiful blue-grey tuft-forming ornamental grass for dry and sunny places, such as rockeries. The blue-grey shade varies slightly between plants. Gets sheer tufts in June-July. Can be grown in most of Sweden provided the growing area is well drained and protected. Thrives in poor, dry soil.

Sow sparsely in damp seed compost. Keep in a cool area for a week at 5-10°C. Then leave to germinate at 20-25°C, the seeds will germinate slowly. Once shoots appear place in a bright, cooler area at 16-18°C. When the plants are big enough to handle put 3 plants/pot in sand-blended soil.
