A low sunflower that is excellent in flower beds and as a border to the vegetable patch. Golden yellow double flowers, very decorative in a vase. When pruned, the plant becomes bushier and produces 6-7 flowers per plant. Undemanding, but needs lots of water and fertiliser.

Fill the pot with 2/3 fertilised flower compost, then add seed compost to fill. Sow 1-2 seeds/pot. Keep moist. Conserve one plant per plant, pinch back the others. Place in a bright, cooler area. Water and fertilise. Transplant outside after frost.
Level soil, water before sowing. Keep seeds moist until germination.
