An easy-to-grow and versatile root vegetable. The main root growth occurs in late summer. Harvest is therefore late. The variety has long, pointed and smooth white roots. The seed loses its germinability quickly - never use old seeds. Can be sown in autumn for an earlier harvest the following year. Does best in loose, loamy and sandy soils but is undemanding. Fertilise and water.
