Marigold

Ivory Princess is a double Calendula variety in shades of bright yellow, bordering on white with a dark or crème-coloured centre. Its petals are edible and will make a salad look stunning. The ideal soil for growing Calendula is nutrient-rich and well-drained, although it can handle most growing conditions. Trimming off wilted flowers will result in longer blooming. The flower will self-seed if allowed to wilt and the seeds are given time to develop. Can be loaded and used for soil improvement during the autumn. It can also be sown during the autumn.

Water in the seed-furrow prior to sowing and keep the soil moist until the seeds have sprouted.
