Perennial, showy plant. The large buds burst into bright orange-red flowers. Sturdy, lacy leaves in silver-green. Cut off any withered peduncles and you may get an extra bloom in August. Undemanding, tolerates drought but water the plants while they’re small. Flowers the year after sowing.
