Lovely mix of sunflowers in a range of heights and colours. Can be used to provide shelter or planted against a house or wall. Beautiful in flower beds or as a cut flower. The plants need supporting. Save the flowering heads for small birds. Prefers a nutrient-rich soil but is undemanding.

Fill the pot with 2/3 fertilised flower compost, then add seed compost to fill. Sow 1-2 seeds/pot. Keep moist. Conserve one plant per plant, pinch back the others. Place in a bright, cooler area. Water and fertilise. Transplant outside after frost.
Level soil, water before sowing. Keep seeds moist until germination.
