Product description

Cayenne long slim is a chili pepper variety that is perfect in for example different types of stews. This variety provides long, slim fruits with a very hot kick. The hot peppers can be used red or green, fresh or dried. The seeds prefer to be sown in nutrient-rich and well-drained soil that is watered and fertilised regularly. Grow the chili peppers in a greenhouse or outdoors in a sheltered area.

Pre-cultivation instructions

To pre-cultivate, simply sow the seeds in damp soil compost. Cover the cultivation with plastic or use a mini greenhouse to retain moisture. Place it in a warm area with a temperature of 25°C until the seeds start to germinate. Once shoots start to appear, move the cultivation to a cooler area and preferably provide it with additional lighting. Let the plants grow big enough to be handled and transplant one plant per fertilised soil. Once the night temperature is above 8°C, the plants can be replanted outdoors.
