Radicchio/chicory forms small, intensely red heads with white veins. Slightly bitter taste, delicious with dressings or oven-baked. Harvest approximately 3 months after sowing. Tolerates some frost in autumn. Prefers humus-rich, well-drained soil that retains moisture. Water regularly.
