Lemon Balm

Classic lemon balm with the wonderful flavour and aroma of mandarins. Use the leaves fresh or dried to make a comforting cup of tea or to top a beautiful pastry. Propagate your lemon balm seedlings in the spring. Sow sparsely in seed compost and put 1 plant/pot of fertilised soil when they are big enough to handle. Transplant outside after frost or put the pot outside. You can also grow lemon balm in pots during the summer. When the plants are big enough to handle, you can either plant out in the growing site or keep 1 plant/pot. In the autumn, you can continue to start seeds indoors to have access to decorative leaves all winter long. Do you also want to have a plant ready in early spring? Start seeds during the winter and the plants can then be planted out after the frost!
