Fun, fast-growing ornamental gourd. Can grow against a trellis, on the ground or on compost. The yellow flowers are succeeded by crown-like pumpkins in orange, green and white. Grown for decoration, not edible. Best grown in nutrient-rich, humus-rich soil in a warm spot. Water well.

Fill the pot with 2/3 fertilised compost and top with 1/3 seed compost. Sow 1 seed/pot. Keep moist. Keep warm during germination, preferably at 30°C, then at room temperature. Water and fertilise. Transplant outside after frost.
