1. Pallet collars are easy to stack on top of each other, so begin by assembling the pallet collars to your desired height. If you plan to have your garden bed on the ground, you can place it directly on the soil. However, if it's on a terrace or balcony, it's a good idea to place a pallet collar pad first to protect the surface.
2. Using a weed barrier cloth on the inside will prolong the life of the pallet collar.
3. At the bottom of the pallet collar, you can add coarse twigs and organic materials such as leaves, compost, manure, and other garden waste. This will improve aeration and structure within your pallet collar, promoting beneficial microorganisms and providing nutrients for your plants.
