Organic seeds. Pretty dark red cabbage with a nice flavour. Harvest when heads begin to feel firm. Perfect in salads with feta cheese and roasted sunflower seeds. Prefers loamy, humus-rich and well-fertilised soils. Water in dry periods. Fibre cloth protects against insect infestations.

4-6 wks. before replanting outside. Sow in damp seed compost at 22°C, keep moist. After sprouting, place in a bright, cool area. Transplant when plants can be handled, 1/pot of fertilised soil. Harden off before transplanting.
Level soil, water before sowing. Keep seeds moist until they germinate. Starting seeds is recommended.
