4-6 wks before replanting outside. Sow sparsely on damp seed compost. When plants can be handled transplant 1/pot. Or sow in plug flats. Harden off, transplant outside after last frost.
Can be direct sown when soil temp. is min. 5°C, but starting seeds is recommended. Level soil, water before sowing. Keep seeds moist until they germinate.
